Back in the day when I still wrote regular erotica, I published a book and listed it on Smashwords. It’s called The Man from the South.

I sold about a dozen copies and then… nothing else happened. A few times however, I received private messages from people asking me for instructions how to purchase my book. Apparently, the Smashwords app was not making purchasing easy, and in some cases, I lost the customer because it just wasn’t working.

You can’t ask for reviews if they can’t buy and read the book.

That’s why I ended up moving my book to Amazon where it sat, alone and review-less, for a long time.
